What should I use to write on my chalkboards?
Our chalkboards work best with regular chalk or erasable chalk marker.  Avoid chalk that contains wax as it will not erase.  Also avoid sidewalk chalk as it will scratch the chalkboards.  We have kid friendly chalk holders with premium smooth chalk available on our site.

How should I clean my chalkboards?
The best way we have found to erase our boards is with our Microfiber Erasing Cloths! They have a special construction that makes erasing a breeze. You may also use a basic cloth or paper towel that's been dampened with a bit of water. Baby wipes also work well! 

Help! I bought and used an erasable chalk marker and after I erased I could still see what had been previously written. What do I do?
On occasion, when the ink from a chalk marker can’t be fully erased from a surface, it leaves traces of residue, also known as a “ghost”, showing what was previously written. If this happens to you, fear not! This ghosting can be reversed with a little Windex and some elbow grease. 

What happens if my chalkboards get damaged in the mail?
We take great pride in our packaging, and we go to great lengths to ensure that your boards arrive to you safe and sound. On rare occasions, however, some packages may get damaged in transit, leaving your boards in less than perfect condition. In the event that this occurs, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your boards with photos of the damage attached to your message. We will assess the damage and if necessary, send new boards out to you right away.

Can I return my chalkboards? 
We hope it never happens, but if for some reason you'd like to return your chalkboards, please contact us within 7 days of receipt to do so. We can only accept returns on unused, non-custom boards.  All custom chalkboards (ie: personalized) or boards that have been written on at any point are final sale and not eligible for return.  We also do not accept returns on discontinued or NQP (not quite perfect) boards.  

Return shipping will be at the expense of the customer, and we will issue a refund in the form of payment was received once we have your return in our hands, less a $5 restocking fee. We reserve the right to refuse a refund on boards that have been used or that arrive damaged to us due to insufficient return packaging.

How much is shipping?
We proudly offer flat rate shipping on all domestic (US) orders.*
All 8x10 orders ship for only $5
All 11x14 orders ship for only $10
The shipping for all International orders will be calculated by weight and location.

*If you are purchasing multiple size chalkboards, shipping costs will default to the largest size board in your order*

Do you ship outside of the US?

We do not ship to any countries outside of the U.S. except for Canada. 

We do ship to Canada. Shipping prices vary depending on your destination and weight. You are responsible for any customs fees or taxes. 

 POLICIES

Returns
Returns for stock items are accepted. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your chalkboard(s) if you are unhappy, and you can return the item(s) or make an exchange for something else in the shop of equal value. If your item was damaged in transit please send photo evidence of the packaging and damage so that we can remedy the situation accordingly.

We cannot accept returns on custom orders (ie: personalized chalkboards). Each item is made specifically for you, and we do our best to communicate all the details needed to agree upon before your order is completed.

We do not accept returns on NQP (not quite perfect) or discontinued items.

All of our chalkboards are handcrafted and, therefore, may vary slightly from what is pictured on a listing. The overall presentation, however, will be very similar to what is shown.


Shipping
Turn around time on chalkboard orders is about two weeks, as we make them all by hand. During high volume times, like sales and holidays, that time frame may be a bit longer, but we assure you we will work as quickly as possible to get chalkboards into your hands. Orders that do not have any personalized chalkboards may ship much quicker, but not always.  

All products will be shipped with a protective covering inside of a sturdy mailer or box. Most products ship via USPS first class mail/Priority Mail. Delivery times vary depending on destination.

Your order will be shipped to the address supplied at checkout. Please check to insure the shipping address is correct before completing checkout.   Addresses associated with methods of payment will not be used automatically. 

International Shipping 
We do not ship to the UK or any countries in the European Union (EU) due to new VAT import tax regulations.  We do ship to Canada. Shipping prices vary depending on your destination and weight.  If you are outside of the USA you are responsible for any custom fees or taxes upon the package arriving to your home.
