What should I use to write on my chalkboards?
Our chalkboards work best with regular chalk or erasable chalk marker, and if you'd like, you can purchase these chalk markers right from us!
How should I clean my chalkboards?
To erase what is written on your chalkboards, simply use a cloth or paper towel that's been dampened with a bit of water. Baby wipes also work wonders!
Help! I bought and used an erasable chalk marker from somewhere other than your shop, and after I erased I could still see what had been previously written. What do I do?
On occasion, when the ink from a chalk marker can’t be fully erased from a surface, it leaves traces of residue, also known as a “ghost”, showing what was previously written. If this happens to you, fear not! This ghosting can be reversed with a little Windex and some elbow grease.
A note on erasable markers - not all erasable chalk markers are created equal. While most will wipe right off, we cannot guarantee that markers you purchase outside of our shop will wipe off neatly and not leave residue. We have tested the markers that we carry at length, and we can proudly say that they will not leave any permenant ghosting on your boards.
What happens if my chalkboards get damaged in the mail?
We take great pride in our packaging, and we go to great lengths to ensure that your boards arrive to you safe and sound. On rare occasions, however, some packages may get damaged in transit, leaving your boards in less than perfect condition. In the event that this occurs, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your boards with photos of the damage attached to your message. We will assess the damage and if necessary, send new boards out to you right away.
Can I return my chalkboards?
We hope it never happens, but if for some reason you'd like to return your chalkboards, please contact us within 7 days of receipt to do so. We can only accept returns on unused, non-custom boards. All custom chalkboards (ie: personalized) or boards that have been written on at any point are final sale and not eligible for return.
Return shipping will be at the expense of the customer, and we will issue a refund in the form of payment was received once we have your return in our hands, less a $5 restocking fee. We reserve the right to refuse a refund on boards that have been used or that arrive damaged to us due to insufficient return packaging.

We proudly offer flat rate shipping on all domestic (US) orders.*
All 8x10 orders ship for only $4
All 11x14 orders ship for only $8
The shipping for all International orders will be calculated by weight and location.
*If you are purchasing multiple size chalkboards, shipping costs will default to the largest size board in your order*
Do you ship outside of the US?
We ship anywhere in the world and shipping prices vary depending on your destination. If you are outside of the USA you are responsible for any custom fees or taxes upon the package arriving to your home.
